Foust Family History

W. L. was born December 17, 1918 to Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Foust of Brice, Texas (Hall County). He was the second child of four children.

The family farmed at Brice and Sudan. W. L. went to school at Sudan and graduated Sudan High School. He met Jozell Tyler in Sudan and they were married June 1, 1938.

To this union was born a daughter, Thetis, on February 4, 1939 and a son, Bill, September 23, 1941. Both attended Morton High School and graduated. Thetis married Frank Hillard and has two children. Bill married and has two daughters, Connie Jo and Christy. Connie Jo is married to Ken Eubanks and lives in Lubbock, and Christy is married to Richard Williams and lives in Morton. Bill also has two stepsons, Reg and Rob.

Jozell was employeed by ASCS for 27 years before her retirement in 1979. She became ill and passed away in January 1984. She is buried in Resthaven at Lubbock.

W. L. is retired from farming, but occassionally helps his son Bill on the farms. He enjoys fishing, travelling and four granddaughters, two grandsons, and one great-grandson.
